Set in a lush park, Pura Taman Ayun (whose name means ‘beautiful garden‘) is one of the most beautiful temples in Bali. Dating back to 1634, it was commissioned by the Raja of Mengwi as a family temple.

I visited Glasgow for the first time last year to attend the unveiling of the new Riverside Museum of Transports. At the same time, Glasgow was hosting the British Art Show 07 which, I found out, is one of the most important exhibitions of contemporary art.
One of the works which most impressed me was ‘The Body and the Ground (or Your Lovely Smile), by British artist Brian Griffiths. Created with a large number of materials, included rope, fiberglass poles, plastic sheets, the installation changes according to the space in which it is exhibited.

Thanks to the poet William Wordsworth, the cosy Grasmere Village has become the most popular destination in the Lake District.

Although it has become a rather touristy spot, Grasmere Village kept alive its charm, with the old cottages, the historical buildings from the 19th and 20th Centuries, and the neat surrounding greenery.

The Pavilion, redesigned in oriental style by the British architect  John Nash, reflects the personality of George IV: eccentric, charming, whose passion for novelty led to the creation of a new fashion, characterized by excess, innovation and refinement.
